this to Up point may be evidence of a strong and admirable Every year the Sampson sisters Helen Anderson Gemel Bean Donna Ross of Delta Maxine Sampson and Delma Berk all get together for a reunion and some good visiting This year they all met at the home of Helen Anderson in Tucson Arizona However this year 5 Brothers also joined the Sampson sisters for the family reunion They spent a great week together and had a fine time I his took place on March Donna Ross just returned home from Tucson and her nice trip Arch and traveled to Eillmore Thursday evening to the viewing in the Olpin Mortuary for Mrs Blanche She and her husband Earl have been very dear friends for many years Our sympathy is with the family at this time Then on Friday Arch and traveled to Garrison for the funeral which was very nice And we enjoyed the nice visit with the family and friends once again We visited with Vola Bunker and she said that her husband Glen is rot very well he is having lots of health problems at this time We hope he will soon be much better Mrs Anna Bennett took her son Jay Paulman to Ogden for a swimming meet on Ihursday and Friday They returned home Saturday alternoon Mrs ontella Crafts spent Sunday in Pay son where she attended a missionary teport of Karen Bernsen the daughter of Fontella's niece in the Payson Ward but the most enjoyed things in life are enjoyed as they are shared Consider for example the most humorously of people's telling of some of their bewildering experiences Even that questionable enjoyment isn’t what it might be unless there is someone else to tell it to Trips taken are more enjoyed first of all if there are others along and if there is someone to tell all about them after they are over Sometimes showing pictures and talking about the places visited will be boring but is much more satisfying with something shared Sometimes people live in tight compartments and too closely keep their confidence from one another and sometimes we all get into a feeling of being too busy to share preciously essential things with sincere It is true that in sharunderstanding ing we receive that in giving we get Sharing thoughts hopes even of fears ol heartfelt feelings of pleasant things encountered during the day opening and in not up living tight compartments it teen members attended the Daughters of Utah Pioneers meeting held riday at the home of Mrs 50 percent chance of getting divorced Of those who get divorced percent will get remarried The family created by a remarriage from the first time is quite different married couple according to Dr Jean own assistant professor in the College of Family Life as USU Specifically there is usually more financial stress involved in a remarriage she says There are usually children involved which means there may be alimony andor child support obligations resulting from the previous marriage A new step father may be trving to pay child support on top of he possible increased expenses of the new marriage I own says financial problems may be carried over from a previous She says many people indicate that money was the cause or a contributing factor to the end of their first marriage However remarried couples she surveyed did not often discuss It is finances before their remarriage important that finances be discussed before remarriage A result of first marriage financial problems may be that each person in the new' marriage may be secretive about financial assets or hesitant to This can discuss finances altogether cause added pressure to the adjustment period of the new marriage Lown says more attention needs to he given to the unique financial problems of remarried couples We cannot continue to look at them as if they were the same as the traditional nuclear family There are support groups for but few parents without partners progroups address the adjustment blems of remarrieds OASIS Cheryl Roundy Ph: Mrs Conard Stanworth Mrs Berdell Memmott and Shelley spent last Sunday in Cedar City
