Show o WOULD PUT OLD COPPER MINE IN SHAPE TO WORK A. C. Nebeker, local mining superintendent, super-intendent, is now at the copper mining min-ing field near St. George. He will be occupied there until March- The mine where he is working was formerly a very rich one but has not been worked for years. Cave-ins resulted re-sulted in the ultimate abandon of the property. The owners are having Mr. Nebeker on the ground in an attempt to put the mine in shape for active mining. At the time it was worked, a very high profit was being realized from the field, even though the expense of hauling was very great. The owners feel that the property could be made again to pay highly. o |
