Show DEATH OF DAN SULLY. Daniel Sullivan, known to the stage as Daniel Sully, died at his home in Woodstock, N. Y., on June 25. Deceased De-ceased was an actor of the old school, well and favorably known to theatregoers theatre-goers of recent times, as well as of a generation ago. Both playwright and player, he wrote most of the productions produc-tions in which he appeared. "The Corner Grocery" (1884) brought his first notable success. Among his other offerings where "The Parish Priest," "Our Pastor," "The Chief Justice," Jus-tice," "The Golden Rule" and "The Matchmaker." Mr. Sullivan was born in Newport, R. I., 0n November 6, 1855, and made his first appearance . on the stage in 1875. He was a prominent prom-inent member of the Krrights of Columbus. Co-lumbus. - . |
