Show Obituary. WTilliam H. Walsh, only son of Mr. and Mrs. James T. Walsh, passed away on Thursday, July 11, at the family home. 717 Pontiac street, Montclair. Mont-clair. Mr. Walsh was born in St. Louis twenty-eight years ago, but on account of his' failing health the family fam-ily came two years ago to make their home in Denver, where for a time he seemed to improve. The funeral occurred Saturday morning, morn-ing, July 13, from Logan avenue chapel, chap-el, and was under the auspices of the Knights of Columbus, of which deceased de-ceased was a member. Requiem mass was said by Rev. J. M. Walsh of Montclair, Mont-clair, assisted by Rev. H. L. MeMenamin. MeMena-min. The music was furnished by the Queen's Daughters' choir. Interment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. Besides Be-sides his parents, Mr. Walsh is mourned by two sisters, Misses May and Stella Walsh, the latter one of Denver's favorite singers. Denver lost another of its sturdy Catholic pioneers, when on Sunday, July 14, Mrs. WTilliam Buckley breathed her last at her home, 3771 High street. Mrs. Buckley was one of the first settlers set-tlers in the cathedral parish, and only! a few years ago left the old homestead home-stead on Marion street in order to be near her daughter, the last one to leave the parental roof. In the early days when suffering and privation were all too frequent Mrs. Buckley-won Buckley-won a lasting place in the grateful hearts of her neighbors by her ready sympathy and her open-hearted way of sharing her little with all who were less fortunate. All her life she was a model Christian woman, a true wife and devoted mother. Her funeral, took place Tuesday morning, July 16, with requiem mass at Annunciation church. Interment was in Mount Calvary cemetery. cem-etery. Mrs. Buckley is survived by her husband and three daughters, one of whom entered the religious life about twelve years ago. Joseph Geisman died on Sunday, July 14, at his home, 40- West Wesley avenue, and the body, accompanied by the members of his family, was shipped Monday to St. Louis, his former for-mer home. Members of Branch 366, Catholic Knights of America, acted as pall-bearers and escorted the remains to the train. u. j. Mrs. Mary Dolphin died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maria I Wright, 4034 Alcott street. The funeral funer-al occurred Tuesday morning, July 16, with requiem mass at St. Patrick's church. Rev. Father Carrigan officiating. officiat-ing. The remains were then shipped to Scranton, Pa., accompanied by her daughter. St. Vincent's Will Enjoy Excursion. The little children of St. Vincent's orphans' home will be the guests of the Moffat road on an excursion to Tolland next Wednesday. |
