C, G, 7 and 8, Block C6; and In Lots' No &' 1 and 2, Block 79. Plat "A." Salt Lako City Survoy, abutting: on both sides of PIrst South stroot between Second West and Third West stroots, In Sower District Dis-trict No. 1, said property having a frontag-o of 1,179.75 foot along- said stroot. This tax Is levied to defray tho ox-ponso ox-ponso of constructing a vitrified plpo sower eight (8) Inches In diameter upon said portion of said stroot opposite tho property hereinafter described to bo especially es-pecially affected and benefited by said Improvement, and it. Sower Extonslpn Np. 174. AN ORDINANCE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND re-enacting Section 294 of tho Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1903. Bo it ordained by tho City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. That Section 294 of tho Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City of 1908 be and the samo hereby is amended and re-unacted so as to road as follows: Section 20 1. Duty of Health Commissioner Commis-sioner (See Nuisances, Section 4SG). The Health Commissioner shall be tho executive officer of the Board. Ho shall take notice of all ordinances relating to the sanitary condition of the city and enforce the same, and to this end he is hereby authorised to enter, in the daytime, any premises, houses or build-in build-in ffs in the city or within five mllos thereof; he shall Issue all .necessary permits for the burial, removal or other disposition of tho bodies of deceased persons. The Health Commissioner is also authorised au-thorised to employ one competent nurse for the Isolation Hospital at a 8 -lary of $100.00 per month, and a steward for said hospital nt a salary of $75.00 i;e.-month, i;e.-month, and a cook at said hospital, at a salary of $50.00 par month, all such omployos to bo employed during tho pleasure of tho City Council.
