THE SILVER Age received a $1000 grant from the State Fraternity of Eagles, Grant Eeire at their State Convention held in Brigham City. The money for the various grants awarded is raised in the state of Utah and sent to the Grand Eeire in Milwaukee, Wise. The money is then alloted back to the state and awarded to those organizations who qualify for the grants. The organizations who qualify for the grants are nominated on a local level. In our case we were nominated by Joe Gale, a member of the Layton Eagles. We wish to publicly thank Joe INDIVIDUAL awards went to Marilyn Koroulis, who took first place in Todays Women essay and also first for her God In My Life essay.
