Show BROTHER OF CLAUDE HORTON DIES IN SALT LAKE Funeral service will be conducted con-ducted in Salt Lake Saturday for John Earl Horton, brother of Claude Horton. Mr. Horton, 72, died Monday en route to a hospital. He was born Oct. 1, 1897, in Greenville, to John Alma and Harriet Healtington Horton. He married Lucille Griffith, Oct. 15, 1916, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a former LDS bishop, and a high councilman. He had served a mission to the Eastern States. He was a roreman for Ken-necott Ken-necott Copper Corp. Surviving are his widow; a son. Max G., serving with the U. S. Army in Turkey; daughters daugh-ters Mrs. De (Betty) Jensen, Taylorsville; Mrs. William (Pat) Bonebreak and Mrs. Glen (Norma) Jensen, Salt Lake; 21 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers Richard Rich-ard Claude, Milford, and George Alfred, Beaver; and sisters Maude Fairchild, El Monte, Cal., and Myrtle Tanner, Tan-ner, Gardena, Cal. i . |
