Show I by the young people of the Congregational Congrega-tional church at. the home of Mrs. Gunnell on Fowler avenue. Last evening there occurred at the home of Mrs. Bertha Gelger Blake a pleasant surprise, which was attended by about thlrty-flve of her young lady friends from the Bell telephone olflce, to celebrate the recent marriage of Miss Gcler to Mr. C. W. Blake of 1-ogan. Tho gifts were handsome and profuse, all of which attests to the esteem in which the young lady Is held by all her friends. After a very pleasant evening had been spent the merrymakers departed, wishing Mrs. Blake a happy and prosperous future. The Ladies' Auxiliary of the Spanish Span-ish War Veterans will meet at their new quarters in the armory" Thursday Thurs-day evening.
