Show All who have stock are feeding them. We are having a heavy wind from the south today, the 1st. It is to be hoped it will be followed by wet weather. The buds on our trees are dangerously danger-ously swelling. Unless cold weather takes the place of the warm weather we are likely to lose our fruit by the spring frosts. While it's possible for us to get plenty of rain in the valleys, and snow in the mountains between now and April, nevertheless, it is a fact that at present prospects are rather gloomy to us here. The epidemic that has been prevailing prevail-ing over the principal part of this state has measurably left us. However, there are still some ailing. Sister Wil'iam Harris is still confined to her bed, and while she is somewhat better we do not think her entirely outof danger. dan-ger. Her speedy recover is hoped for by all who know her. Our Mutual Missionaries. Eiders Hunter and Durham, have been with us now for near a week. By the goodly turn out at our meeting last night, the 1st, we know that they have been energetic en-ergetic in their labors. They left for Washington today. May they continue to have success, and be blessed in their efforts among the people. |
