WINS EASILY FROM PAYSON Payson Basketball Squad Is Defeated by Springville by the Score of 30 to 17. PAYSON, Feb. 10. After holding last year's stale champions in the first half lo a snore of 17 to 11 in favor of the champs, the Payson high school lads were unable to stand up under the onslaught of the much faster Springville five and succumbed, 17 to 30. Clark, the fast Springville forward, for-ward, continued his basket shooting and rung up six field goals. He lacked one point in scoring half of the points for his team. Cranmer found the hoop for three goals while Burt got two and Thorne one. For the locals Livingston was high scorer, registering two field goals and two free shots. The victory for the Springville boys gives them the undisputed championship for the Nebo division and wil goto the state tournament again this year.
