Show Employee Parking Tops Chamber's Board Meeting List The Board of Directors of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce Com-merce met Tuesday, Dec. 4th to hear committee reports and transact trans-act the following business. J. Gordon Sorensen, chairman of the parking committee reported on the "EE" program (employer-employee parking) and the results of the survey just completed. It was reported by Mr. Sorensen that almost 100 per cent will cooperate co-operate with the Chamber of Commerce Com-merce on stickers for employees cars which will designate on the sticker one of three provisions for parking: 1. Park in a designated employee zone. 2. Park in a lot provided by employer. em-ployer. 3. Park in some area other than customers parking lots. The completion of the parking project will provide more parking areas for Christmas shoppers, it was pointed out by D. James Cannon, Can-non, executive secretary. Following reports of committee heads the group decided the next board meeting will be held Tuesday, Tues-day, Dec. 11 at 8:30 a.m. at which time the officers for the new year will be elected. . |
