Show GRANT MEETS DEATH IN FALL FRO BUGGY internal hemorrhage Fo follows dollois llois accident and operation is performed but injuries cioe fatal an accident that resulted fatally occurred at central last friday when grant son of mr and mrs N C was thrown from a buggy in which he was riding near his home and injured to such an all extent that he died sunday afternoon it appears that he struck his ab romen on a post when he fell from tho the buggy but not until saturday morning was medical aid summoned the injury being regarded as not s serious erious when a physician was summoned ordered the young man removed to the local hospital an 0 operation pe ration was decided upon and it was then discovered that important blood vessels had been ruptured and an internal hemorrhage had continued ail aal night which sapped tho the vitality 0 the patient and death relieved his sufferings sunday afternoon ter noon grant was IS 18 years old had passed his second year high school and was a favorite among his schoolmates during his first year at the high school he met with a serious accident while playing on the steps of the seminary he fell and sustained a severe injury to his head which kept him out or of school tor for several weeks he is survived by his father and mother fier four sisters and one brother these are mrs christina anderson and geneva Sorens cn central mrs rachel schilling leba and niel los angeles the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family |
