So say the people all through southern Utah, and the Dis-fatch Dis-fatch gets there in consequence. Tjie ball given by the Springtime Peasant Hour Club, on the 19lh, was a very pleasant affair. The hall was nicely decorated with llagi and banners, ban-ners, and presented a gay and brilliant appearance. The best of order always prevails at the dances given by this club. The Provo people and the Tintic-ites Tintic-ites are still red-hot for the short line road. Judging from the character of the men who have organized a com-' pany for that purpose, we are of the opinion that the road will be a sure go and a grand success. At a meet ing of the Provo Fireman held Wednesday. March 18th, it was decided to eive a torchlight parade and & ball at SpringYiHe on Wednesday next, March 2oth. It was also decided to have a drill the following Saturday some where about 5 o'clock, when the flre alarm will be sounded. Next Friday night the following programme will be given at the M. Walter Scott, the appointee of the City Council for water-master, has filed suit against Thos. E. Thurman. ex-watermaster of Provo, compelling him to vacate his office and yield np the books, records, etc. W, H. King represents the city, and John B. Mil-ner Mil-ner Mr. Thurman.
