Show Page 8 - Thurs Sept 13 1984 September with all of their children and most of the brothers and sisters on both sides of the family Receiving of guests was in the early evening in their lovely yard with all of their children standing in the line with them which think is more than right After all they are the jewels of your life and the fruits of your love for each other and the reward of your golden years along with all those talented and beautiful grandchildren It was a wonderful time for all of their family to be together The Hinckley Rook Club held their summer party with their husbands Thursday Sept 6 They enjoyed a lovely supper on the lawn at the home of Ruth and Cluff It was a beautiful late summer evening and they enjoyed good food good company and good fun The merger of The Chronicle and Progress I think is a step onward and upward and since there are so many East MillardWest Millard marriages on both sides of the county it should work our wonderfully well Alma Edward of Salt Lake spent the weekend here visiting her sisters Enid Damron and Alta Warnick recently Ron and Rose Shumway and son Mark spent a weekend fishing at Flaming Gorge They stayed overnight with Ron’s sister Revo and husband Ren Taylor and family in Neola Verdell and Dana Bishop spent a relaxing week with their daughter Patrice her husband Dean Moody and Washington family in Kennewick Verdell went fishing with the guys In a party of 11 they caught 117 fish Dean and Patrice have just returned from a vacation in Madrid Spain The family of Ted Dennison held a family reunion here the weekend of the first of September They have a large and loving family so I know they had a good time Sandra and Eldon Kim Rowley have moved to Hinckley They live in the home across from Waldo Warnick Sr They have two sons Andrew and Peter Eldon was sustained Sunday to be finance clerk in the Hinckley 2nd ward Jerry Hyrns had held this bishopric position prior to moving to Arizona Don and Cherie Morris attended the USPS Millard County HINCKLEY Sharon Western Ph: 864-333Sheldon and I don’t take a vacation very often but when we do we make it a good one We just returned from a week of cruising the Caribbean aboard the SS Starward which is a to the SS Norway that Ruth and Cluff and Thora and Wayne took in January We visited the islands of Jamacia Cozumel and Grand Cayman Sheldon could have traded all of Jamacia for his hat and boots!
