Show THOSE WHO TAKE stock in spiritualistic stories and yield a credulous ear to supernatural romance, will be interested in this yarn, which we glean from the New York Sun: A tramp was put to work cutting the grass in a graveyard at Decatur, Ala. [Alabama] He soon abandoned the job, and declared that a young woman in one of the graves had warned him not to disturb the grass over her. What convinced the neighbors of the man's truthfulness was the fact that he gave the name of the grave's occupant, though there was no tombstone to convey the information, and he was a stranger in those parts. |
