Show A Tale with ql Moral. Eliza Crust, ('tis shyly aid.) Was often vexed most sadly, Her luck, (it goes,) in Baking Bread, Was faring worse than badly. Eliza was a little wie, She would not lose her place. To spite the tears, which filled her eyes, She sought advice post-haste. Down to the Store she quickly flew And to the Clerk she said; "111 Luck I've had, It makes me blue, It comes in Baking Bread." The Clerk he smiled; That's easy, Miss, A tip we'll give, we rustlers, You just go back, and take with you A sack of flour that's HUSTLERS!" Eliza Crust the flour did take, And home-ward bent her way. Since then the bread of Liza's bake, For her, has won the day! |
