Show HORSEBACK RIDE OVER SKYLINE SKY-LINE TRAIL FULLY ENJOYED ing to Mr. Mathews there are more than 500 varieties and species of plant life in the Cache National Nation-al Forest. The party left the Skyline Trail at the summit of. Card Canyon and visited the beaver colony near the head of Richards Hol-ow. Hol-ow. Here Mr. Costley gave an interesting in-teresting talk about the beaver and its habits. No beavers were I seen but they had been active. They had a well constructed lodge and had cut aspens for several rods around the stream. Although it was a long horseback horse-back ride over the Skyline Trail, Wednesday sponsored by the Logan Lo-gan canyon Trails committee of the Logan Chamber of Commerce as one of its annual projects, all riders enjoyed it and received interesting in-teresting information. At the Ice Spring for lunch, J. R. Mathews, assistant Forest Supervisor Su-pervisor gave an interesting talk of the operations and plans of the Forest department. The effects of fire protection and range management manage-ment were presented. The grazing problem of the forest is a big and important one ,he said.
