The suspect is known and lives in the area. On Saturday, October 9, during the Prescription Take Back Event at Walgreens, a total to-tal of 62 pounds of drugs were disposed of. Nothing further. On Sunday, October 10, an officer responded to the American Amer-ican Fork Hospital Emergency Room on a report of a female who came in and stated that she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. An officer took a report of an attempted burglary in which a door, valued at $100, was damaged. The reporting party has a possible suspect. This case is being referred to investigations. On Tuesday, October 12, a traffic stop resulted in a Controlled Substance problem prob-lem involving marijuana. On Wednesday, October 13, officers responded to a call on driver who was drinking drink-ing in a parking lot and then drove away. Officers stopped the vehicle and found the driver and his passengers to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DUI and the passengers were cited and released. A report of a theft involving involv-ing $600 of copper wire being stolen and a damaged fence gate valued at $400 were reported by Rocky Mountain Power. An officer responded to a theft detail at Macey's Food and Drug on three juveniles that were in custody for retail theft. The juveniles were caught on video surveillance putting items in their backpacks. The juveniles juve-niles were cited and released to their parents at Macey's. The juveniles will be sent to Youth Court. An officer was dispatched to apartments at East 900 South for the theft of $40 from a residence. resi-dence. Information was gathered gath-ered and this report was filed. On Friday, October 8, an officer was dispatched to an assault as-sault that occurred in Pleasant Grove. The assault was reported report-ed in American Fork and was delayed one hour. The officer found that the suspect and the victim were juveniles and there were several witnesses. Further investigation will be necessary to locate the suspect. An officer responded to a local residence on reports of a delayed burglary. Upon arrival the home was found in complete disarray. One door to a bedroom bed-room had been broken down. It appeared that the suspect was looking for something in the residence. The homeowner stated stat-ed the only things missing were several kitchen knives. Nothing else appeared to be gone. At this time, no suspect information informa-tion is available.
