Show To Visit daughter Is Mother Hies Mr. and Mrs. William A. Turner) had word last Thursday that their daughter, Miss Merna Turner, airline air-line stewardess, had been injured, lid was in the hospital at Reno, Nevada. Mrs. Turner left Delta Friday to go to Reno, but in Salt Lake City received word of the serious condition of her mother, Mrs. Elsie Brotherson Cook, at Boneta, Du chesne county. Mrs. Cook died there. Sunday morning, aged 70, following an illness of several months. Funeral services for Mrs. Cook were held in the Boneta ward chapel Wednesday, and burial was at Moroni. Mrs. Turner remained in Utah, and will see her daughter daugh-ter in Salt Lake City this weekend, when she will be flown from Reno to a Salt Lake hospital. When she , is released she plans to come to Delta for a visit before resuming " her duties with the airline. |
