Eddington, 79. native of Salt lJike City and well known throughout Utah, died Saturday at 2:30 a. m. at Lehi following a stroke of paralysis suffered while visiting in California several weeks ago. A son of William and Luise Barton Eddington. L. DS. pioneers who came to Salt Lake valley in 1853. he was born in Salt Lake City. October 13, 1848, and at an early age moved with his parents to Morgan county. He married Miss Mary Ann Fry, October 12, 1882. in the L. D. S. Endowment house in Salt Lake City. Shortly thereafter he served several terms as county recorder of Morgan county. In 1911 he moved to Salt Lake City. His wife died here January 4, 1932. For the past five years he had resided with a son. Dr. Elmo Eddington, at Lehi. Surviving are three sons. Dr. Eddington of Lehi, W. R . Eddington of Springville, Leonard Eddington of American Fork; a daughter, Mrs. Vera E. Thomsen of Los Angeles; nine brothers. James. Lorenzo and David Eddington, of Morgan; Rich-L- ., George and Elijah Eddington of Salt Lake City, Leo Eddington of Denver, Walter Eddington of Oakland, California, and Paul Eddington cf San Farncisco; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn E. Clark, Mrs. Louise E. Callister, Mrs. Rose E. Callister, Mayme Eddington and Sarah Eddington. all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held from the William Taylor Morutray of Salt Lake City, Wednesday. Burial took place in Salt Lake. A large number of Lehi people accompanied the Eddington family to Salt Lake City. - 17; 27; 44. 36; NIGHT The Lehi Stake M . I.
