It is the aim of the city officials to have Lehi a clean city and a good place to live. Citizens are urged to make special effort to clean their premises of weeds, rubbish and old cans during the week, and to burn all rubbish early in the day and to haul the remainder to the city dump The city grounds on Basin Hill. officials are having the dump grounds cleaned and all rubbish dumped into the wash and are asking citizens to dump their trash into the wash instead of scattering it all over the bench as they have done in the past. There is plenty of room in the wash for all will go a trash and your trash the toward keeping long way out of sight. The city officials also request citizens to respect the property rights of others and to help protect public property, to use walks and not walk across lawns and public or private s . grounds. with the school and city the Lehi Lions sponsored a beautiful lawn for the school campus. With a large expenditure of money and a lot of labor the school lawn is one of the beauty spots of lower Lehi . In spite of the fact that there are cement walks surrounding the entire lawn, and a cinder track inside, one notices a path being worn across the cfnter of the lawn, showing the visit or to our city that we have either lazy or careless citizens, who would sooner deface a beauty spot than take the few seconds necessary to use the lawi.. paved walk and go around the There has also been reports of carets bovs ridintr horses cross the lawn and of even truck drivers backing on It is there for you and to the lawnLet us each your children to enjoy. in condition it to share keep do our and remember to do your share in keeping 1935 a clean year.
