McFarlane and Mr. and Mrs. of Riverton. were accidently hit by a truck. The McFarlane's were just driving over to the theatre when the truck which was traveling at quite a fast rate bumped into them. No one received any serious njury. Both cars were quite badly wrecked. Investigations were made by Marshal Niron Fowler. The accident occurred Monday evening about 8:30 on State Street, in front of the Royal Theatre. 1. All birds entered must be killed with Peter's Ammunition. 2. All hunters entering the contest must register at the Gilchrist Hardware on Main street BEFORE Sunday, November 3rd. 1935. 3. Birds winning daily prizes can not be entered in long bird contest. 4. Birds with broken necks or otherwise badly mutilated will be disqualified. 5. Birds must be entered on the day they are killed. 6. Birds may be entered Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p. m. FIRE THREATENS B ARHS Quick work of neighbors saved the barn and hay of Apor Wanlass. when a grass and rubbish fire thought to have been started by a passing Denver and Rio Grande Western railroad freight train, Saturday afternoon. The fire was noticed soon after the train had passed and was burning briskly in the weeds and rubbish, a portion of the fence. Neighbors noticing the fire took hold and soon had it under control.
