Daskeyich for Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Ward returned from a five day vacation trip to San Jose, Calif, where they visited with one week. The remainder-- f their time was spent in Texas with relatives, his mother, Mrs. Johnnie Massey and a brother, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Massey at their grandchildren Jason Ward and Monica Ward. They spent time visiting places of interest in the area. Mrs. Helen Johnson recently returned from Sacramento, Calif, where she enjoyed a two week vacation with .her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Pace. A houseguest last week for two days of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoi Day was their son, Dee Day of Merced, Calif. He was in Utah for an appointment. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Laser drove to Boise, Ida. where they visited with their Mr. daughter and and Mrs. Robert Thueson and then drove on to Portland, Ore. to attend the concert performance of the Davis High School Orchestra in which their two children per-- , formed, Carol and Neal Laser. En route to Portland they also attended the concert at Nampa, Ida, on Thursday evening which the orchestra presented. The orchestra is in the Northwest to compete in the Western States Competition. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Templeton and family and a son-in-la- - Fredricksonburg and many other family members. They did a lot of sightseeing before returning. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Sanders, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dredge, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Cullimore, Mr. and Mrs. Henry McGlinch were guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Glen W. Cundall in Salt Lake City. Returning from a week vacation trip to California were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Perkins. They visited with his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Dean at the center of things, especially m Davis County. NATIONAL DURING Volunteer Week, April the individuals who volunteer for Davis County Mental Health are being honored and commended for their quality work in community service. Presently there are 22 active volunteers participating in the volunteer program. are Ten volunteers members of the Advisory Board for the Davis County Family and Community Mental Health Center. The current membership includes: Ed Mayer, chairman; Richard Youngberg, vice chairman; Vermilla Pope, Kay Papulak, Eva Hancock, Wayne Tren-beatMonte Petersen, Jean Okawa, Paul Boggs and Hinauri Tribole.
