Show Funeral Services to Be Held in Washington For Former Cedar - Parowan Resident Funeral services will be held in Benton, Washington for Wil- J liam Carlos Pendleton, 62, a for- mer resident of Cedar City, who died this past week in the Wash- ' ington city. Mr. Pendleton had been missing miss-ing since April 6 and was found on April 21 w hen searchers, dragging drag-ging the river, found his body. i It is believed that he suffered a heart attack betor toppling into i the river which ran in the vicini-1 ty of his home. i Mr. Pendleton was born Oct. 7. ' 18SS in Parowan, a son of Daniel S. and Anna Larson Pendleton. On June 28, 1929. he married Ruth Elizabeth Church in Ogden. Engaged in farming during most of h's life, he lived in Cedar Ce-dar City for many years, later moving to New York and finally to Washington. Survivors include his widrtw and two children: William Dean Pendleton, Salina, N. Y and Doris May Pendleton, Benton, Washington; a brother and four sisters: Calvin C. Pendleton, Washington; Mrs. Emeline Walker, Walk-er, Cedar City; Mrs. Delia Pen-,dleton Pen-,dleton Cripps, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. Olive Cline, Ouray, I Colo., and Mrs. Milda Jones, Vernal, Ver-nal, Utah. |
