Show FUNERAL IS HELD FOR MRS. E. P. BURNSIDE Funeral services were held for Mrs. Elizabeth Printice Burnside a' the North Ward Chapel Thursday afternoon af-ternoon at 2 o'clock November 5lh, 1914, Bishop H. C. Jacobs presiding. The choir rendered sacred music for the services. Elder Joseph Seely offered of-fered the opening prayer. The speakers speak-ers were Elders C. Roe and Richard Brown and President Adolph Mar.. Elder George Stanforth offered the closing prayer and Elder Joseph Seely dedicated the grave at the cemetery. Mrs. Burnside died at her r.onie Monday November 2, 1914 at about 4 o'clock a. m. She was born in Scotland January 12, 1827. She was married to John Mayson Burnside in 1S49. They became members of the Mormon Church in their native land and came to Utah in August 1SGS. At first they lived in American' Ameri-can' Fork for eleven years and then ;hey came to Mount Pleasant where they made their permanent hem?. Mrs. Burnside lost her husband many years ago and nine children preceed-ed preceed-ed her to the grave. She Is survive.', by five children, Mrs. James Camp-jell Camp-jell of Victor Idaho, Mrs. Marion Shelley, Thomas J. Burnside. Mrs. Thos. Spens of Mount Pleasant and Uex L. Burnside of Driggs Ido.ho. There are also 55 grand children and 75 great grand children. i |
