Tho rooms were bright with many bowls of sweet peas and pink rosea. Miss Robinson sang a number of song3, among them "The Serenata," Toti; "Winged Bird," from "Tho Pearl of Brazil," "Jo Seuxvivere," from tho opera "Romeo and Juliet," Gounod; "Elsa's Dream," Lohengrin; "Tho Sweetest Flower That Blows," Hawley. Miss Judith Evans was tho accompanist of tho evening. Mrs. Charles G. Plummer sang during tho evening and Mr. Smith of New York was heard as violinist'. Mrs. Bailey entertained a few friends at luncheon Tuesday at tho Wilson, in honor of Madnmo Ancolla Fox of Chicago. Mrs. Montague Ferry and Mrs. Charles G. Plummer entertained at a luncheon on Friday at tho Country club for Madamo Fox. Miss Peterson and Miss Sorenson of Chicago aro guests' this week of Rov. H. H. Hansen. Dr. and Mrs. Plummer, Mrs. Julia Kimball, Mrs. Floronco K. Woodruff and Miss Nolllo Cnlvin leave on July G for Seattle and Portland.
