Show NOVEMBER 3, 1987 L, Obituary N. Sacco succumbs Ned Joseph Sacco, 43, of 93 Brent Ave., Layton, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1987 at Humana Hospital Davis North of a heart attack. He was born Dec. 13, 1943 in Ogden, a son of Faye Bemenderfer and Frank Joseph Sacco. He married Hope Morris in Oregon. They were later divorced. He married Sue Bledsoe Dec. 2, 1986 in Ogden. He was reared in Ogden and attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville. He completed several courses in electronics while serving with the Coast Guard. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service. He traveled extensively while serving in the Coast Guard and had lived in California, Alaska and Tennessee. He had lived in the Clearfield-Layto- n area the past six years. He received many commendations and awards during his military career, one being the last light keeper of Point Loma in San Diego, Calif. He worked at Hill Air Force Base as an electronic technician. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Surviving are his widow of Layton, two sons and one daughter, Ned Thomas Sacco, Layton; Kevin Michael Sacco, Lakewood, Colo.; Mrs. Donald (Thersa) Boldin, Knoxville, Tenn.; one grandchild, three stepsons, Jason Bledsoe, Scott Edwards and Darryl Edwards, all of Thebes, 111. Also surviving are his mother, Faye B. Dawson, Clearfield; his father, Frank Joseph Sacco, Ogden; one brother and one sister, Ty Patrick Dawson, West Point; Mrs. Douglas (Judy) Adams, Services held Turner rites for are held R. He had served in the Young Mens organization in exploring and as a home teacher. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his widow of Farmington, five sons and one daughter, R. She had lived in Utah since 1965. ? She received her nursing degree in Walla Walla, Wash. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in ner and Mrs. Tony (Hazel) Roehrig, both of Salt Lake City; Steven Turner, Roy; Lorraine Conley, LaVerkin; Mrs. Roger (Rosalie) Williams, Beaver; Ellen Milligan, Los Osos, Calif. ; 22 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. He was reared and educated in Oklahoma, graduating from Sapul-p- a High School, and attended Oklahoma City University. He joined the LDS Church in Tulsa, Okla. and was a High Priest in the Kaysville 18th Ward. He also served in the Elders Quorum presidency as a quorum instructor, in the Sunday School presidency, as ward chorister and both ward and Clearfield. He was preceded in death by his stake music chairman. He served as a tenor soloist for many church stepfather and one brother. Interment was in the Fort Doug- and civic events. Clara Brown Donald, 88, of 398 Vickie Lane, Clearfield, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1987 at her Ralph William Lawson, 69, of 215 E. 300 N., Farmington, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1987 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful of a heart attack. Marshall H. Turner, 73, of 31 W. N., Sunset, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1987 in the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden of cancer. He was born Oct. 3, 1914 in Lehi, a son of Alfred Marshall and Hazel May Chamberlain Turner. He married Elenor Stensby in 1944 in New Orleans, La. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Nov. 2, 1986. He retired after 21 years of service from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer, and served in World War II and the Korean War.
