Show COPPER RANCH development DEVELOP HENT hon ben T lloyd manager of the copper ranch mine in beaver county made a visit to this inviting property last week returning home highly elated and very much pleased with the manner in which the mine is showing up with development at the fifty foot level in the foot shaft which has been sunk in the exploitation of the copper ranch a cut has been made through the vein for a distance of 23 feet without showing either wall a magnificent body of ore being thus exposed which according homr to mr lloyd carries metallic values ranging from 65 to 33 per cent copper 2 to 13 ounces silver and from 82 to in gold to the ton the higher values in gold it is believed being carried in the decomposed stratas of the vein on the in the shaft a crosscut cross cut is being driven in the opposite direction from the cut on the 50 foot level and in this direction there seems to be no limit to width and strength of the ore body six hundred feet west of the shaft considerable open cut work vork has been done one cut of twenty feet in length and five feet deep showing pay values in the red metal while trenching drenching tren ching across this highly mineralized zone shows conclusively that the vein is all of feet wide at this point the company has seventeen claims covering two miles of the vein on its strike the workings above described being on the east end of the group but now over operations will begin on the west end and a hoist is being installed to facilitate development on account of the present fine showing and conditions the officials of the company are more than willing to take all the treasury stock personally that shall be needed to keep up systematic unsystematic work in the opening up of this fine copper proposition which has all the earmarks of beino being a bonanza |
