Photo If Married Women Take Advantage Of Local College Class Facilities Proof that the old adage "Where there’s a will there’s a way" is still true is evident at Carbon College Over thirty married women are currently pursuing higher education courses in addition to rearing families keeping up their home and attending church and social functions Living proof of the adage is found in a popular threesome seen about the campus who are affectionately dubbed "The Three Muskateers” by fellow students They are Jackie Thayne Bonnie Poloni and Merlene Poloni "We are taking advantage of the opportunity we have of attending school in our own community" states Mrs Harold Poloni "Already I have learned in my psychology class valuable lessons in rearing children It is good to get a new slant We tend to rear our children the way we were brought up" Mrs Poloni is the mother of three children ages eight three and seven months She hires a Male Glee Club Continues Activity Male Glee Club a group consisting of approximately twenty adult male voices is currently entering its second season The group which meets together one hour each week because they enjoy singing is largely made up of local business men Frank Fostma Carbon College music head directs the organization The group has selected Stanley Johnson as president Bruce Bry-nDr Jack Parry and Murray Mathis as other group leaders During the past year the group has participated at numerous functions Initial concert presentation for this year will be with Community er the Combined Music Depart- ment’s Christinas program at Geary
