Sunday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Orval Grover had as their overnight guests, her brother, Scott Petersen, and Miss Elenore Perry. "If I just came to sit and admire this array of beautiful flowers this morning, I would feel well re paid," was a remark heard at Sunday School last Sunday morning. There were ten vases of gorgeous flowers arranged on the rostrum with an artist's touch. Seldom, if ever, from spring until autumn does one go to church here but what they are cheered by vases of lovely home grown flowers. This entails much care in growing and cultivating, not to mention the extra work in gathering, arranging and getting the flowers to the chapel before Sunday School time. Mrs. Loda Oyler, Mrs Essie Petersen and other ladies of the ward who quitely and modestly share their lovely flower gardens, will long be remembered for this beautiful gesture. After all, the ward chapel and recreation hall are the center of attraction in a small community, and the influence from such is far reaching. It was pleasing to the ward members when Bishop Potter stated in Sacrament meeting, Sunday evening, that as the rush of work slackened he hoped the painter would soon be able to fulfill his contract and redecorate the walls of the chapel, which became badly soiled during the winter when the furnace was out of working order. Bishop Potter further stated that as non as some priorities are ' grai xl it la expected the grounds will be land9capped, which we hope will be very soon. Pepermint Pepsin - - Spearmint H.
