They all met to quilt as usual each Tuesday and had a beautiful satin quilt to work on. At about 11 o'clock, Leader, Mary Harris, got up and announced her daughter had prepared dinner for them, if they would walk one block to their home. There were 12 present A grand chicken dinner was topped off with a delicious apple pie and ice cream. It was hard to go back to work after such a delightful treat.
