TWo warrants came up and he was booked and put in jail. An individual reported the. theft of his watch from his dorm room at University Village. He reported that it occurred last Monday or Tliesday. He observed an individual wearing the watch that was stolen. He got the watch back and didn't want any action taken. He just wanted to file it for documentation. • -, I* ~' Friday, Nov. 30 Traffic accident on Dixon, both vehicles towed ; A red Stratus was leaving the Al parking lot and turning onto 3050 South Dixon and failed to yield the right of way. The Stratus was hit by a white truck. The medical helicopter was carrying one patient and two other passengers and was headed from Anchorage to Cordova. The names of those on board have not been released. Honey may help children's cough Man's wedding ring saves life JACKSON, Miss. - Donnie Register owes his life to his wedding ring. Two robbers came into his store demanding money, a shot was fired when one of the men showed his gun. The bullet was I 'Reflected off his wedding ring, going through :^wo of his fingers without severing the bone. The bullet broke in half with one of the pieces lodging in his finger and the other ending up in his neck. His injuries are not life-threatening. CHICAGO - A teaspoon of honey before bed may help children's coughs and help them sleep better, according to a new study. The study relied on parents' reports of their children's symptoms. It said honey is more effective than cough medicine, or no treatment, in a three-way comparison. Due to the recent problems associated with giving children under six years of age cold medicine, three pediatricians who read the study said they would recommend honey. Honey is not recommended for children under one.
