Show Polio Fund Benefits To Be Held o Much activity is going on around town these days with two events scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 2G, in the March of Dimes campaign. Good cooks are getting out their favorite recipes for the Food Sale that will , start at 2 p.m. at the Clas sic Shop. The Homemak-ers, Legion Auxiliary and the Literary Club are combining their efforts to , make this Food Saie a success. The Variety' Show is scheduled for '8 p.m. at the Panguitch Social Hall with Mr. Alva' Mickelson as Master of Ceremonies. Humorous skits are being practiced behind .closed , doors for this affair and it promises to bring out the versatile talents of the ladies and gents of various clubs. Hatch has been invited to present "something entertaining and everyone will welcome these visitors. Mrs. Theora Heaps is in charge. Merchants have been . very generous with dona tions of prizes which will be awarded to participants of stunts and he like, and there will be a grand prize of a 50 gallon drum of gas donated by Croft-Pearson Industries. The Variety Show is a "must": laugh and" have fun so that victims of the dread crippler can have the medical care that is sq needed. Admission is: 75c adults; 50c high school students; 25c children. |
