Show Veteran of City ' Who Died Sunday JAMES L. HAGUE. JAMES L. HAGUE AMNIONS Pioneer of 'Utah and Veteran Bank Clerk Expires at Family Home. James L. Hague of 510 South West Temple street died at S o'clock last night at , his home of kidney trouble, with which he had been' bothered for some time. Ho had been ailing for about six months, although his case hail not been considered serious unlll the last ten days. Mr. Hague was born in Sheffield. England, Eng-land, January 28, 1S4-J. He was brought to this country and direct to Utah by Ills parents when he was only S years old and had lived In this state up to the time of his death. For the past twelve years he had lived at the present pres-ent home. He was a veteran of the Blackhawk Indian wars and In his early years was well known among the business busi-ness men of Snlt Lake City. Although Mr. Hague had been living In retirement for about ton years, he-fore he-fore he retired he worked for Walker Brothers' mercantile firm in this city as a clerk for twenty-seven years. He was married to Sarah Carson, a Utah girl, when a young man and she, with one son. three daughters and one little grandson survive. The children are Charles Hague of Bingham and the Misses Margaret, Delia and Effle Hague, who were living with their parents. All members of the family were present pres-ent at the time of his death and he was conscious and knew all of them up to the last.
