John N, Clark, plaintifr, vs. John Doe, detendant. To John Doe, whose name is otherwise unknown, un-known, defendant. You arc hereby requested to appear before this court on the 23ra day of February, A. D. 1894. at 10 o clock a, m. of said day to answer a complaint fll'd against jon wherein said pl-iutiff claims the sum of $1 50 damages caused by your animal trespassing on his premises at Vineyard. Utah county Said animal is described as follows, to-wit; One red cow. eight yenrs old, branded on left hip, slit in riyht ear. j And you are hereby notified that if you fail to apper and answer said complaint at the time and plac i aforesaid, judgment will he taken against you for 11.50 the amount of said damage, the cst of keeping said animal and the costs of this suit.
