Show 'B' "ecent Uricle ... i- Carriage Of Local Girl Jnnounced cZfy Parents a . Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A. Johnson of this city announce the marriage of their daughter, Dorothy Lucille Johnson, to Cpl. David "Bill" T. Cates, Jr., son of Captain and Mrs David T. Cates, Sr., of Los Angeles, Ange-les, Calif. The ceremony was performed July 27, in Salt Lake City, with Martin L. Ethington, bishop of the Eighth L. D. S. ward, officiating. The bride was attended by Mau-rine Mau-rine Crawford, Marjorie Caulam, Ruth Robinson and Lydia Greener. Howard Johnson, brother of the bride, was best man. Immediately after the ceremony, the young couple was entertained at a wedding supper. Cpl. Cates has returned to Avon Park, Florida, where he is stationed sta-tioned with the Army Air Corps. Mrs. Cates will remain in Salt Lake City for the present where she is employed as cashier at the American Life Insurance Co. i j Jj Mrs. David T.
