Show Families and Friends Gather for Thanksgiving Holiday Mr. and Mrs. Fred Topham had s guests for dinner on Thanks-giving Thanks-giving Day, Fred's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Topham, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham, of Paragonah and Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Dodge and their family of Cedar. Mr. and Mrs. Benson Haycock of Whlttier, Calif., spent the Thanksgiving Day holiday with Mrs. Haycock's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Scott Mitchell and with other members of the family In this area. Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Mitchell and family of Brigham City, who were spending Thanksgiving in this area, visited briefly In Paro-wan Paro-wan over the week end. Lawrence Miller, who Is spending spend-ing the winter as a worker in the St George' LDS Temple, Joined Join-ed the Jay Jensons and Jim Millers Mil-lers of Cedar City for Thanksgiving Thanks-giving at the home of the R. Taylor Tay-lor Millers. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard S. Orton spent the past week visiting with members of Mrs. Orton's . family In Grand Junction, Colo. Lyle Mortensen, who has spent the past several weeks In Atlanta, Atlan-ta, Ga., for special training as a sadar technician, was home for the Thanksgiving week end. He returned to his work the first of the week. Nev., were Thanksgiving holiday visitors vis-itors at the home of their mother, moth-er, Mrs. Mary, Rowley In Paro-van,. Paro-van,. M. and Mrs. Joseph C. Orton 'and trfree sons of Salt Lake City were Thanksgiving Day guests at1 the home of Joseph's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Twenty Orton. Also, I spending some time in Parowan over the holiday week end were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Topham and son of Orem and Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Peterson of Salt Lake City. ' Sanford Topham was here from Salt Lake City to spend Thanksgiving Thanks-giving vacation' with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Mario Topham. Top-ham. Sanford Is attending the U of U and teaching on a fellowship fellow-ship for the coming quarter at that school. Out-of-town members of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Benson Ben-son who were here for a family dinner on Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lloyd, the Lloyd's daughter Carel and their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Earn Hansen, Henderson; Mr. and Mrs. Nate Benson, Kearns; Mr. and Mrs. Sime Benson, Provo, Mr. and Mrs.. John V. Benson, Moab, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nelson of Cedar City, with members of their families. This group met at the Old Rock Church for dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Mr. and Mrs. Adlee Wood and family of Norwalk, Calif, spent the Thanksgiving Holidays at the home of their mother, Mrs. Clara Warner and grandfather, George Stevens. - Mrs. Augusta Dalton of Whit-tier, Whit-tier, Calif, was here to spend the Thanksgiving week end with her sln-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fife and family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Halter-man, Halter-man, Salt Lake City; Dr. and Mrs. Wallace Lee, Panguitch and Mr. and Mrs. Tebbs Adams, Dug-way, Dug-way, and their families were in Parowan for Thanksgiving and remained here to attend the missionary mis-sionary testimonial for their brother bro-ther David Adams, held Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Benson, and Orland Evans, Southern Utah Dairy Co. officers, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mickelson attended the annual meeting of the Utah Cooperative Co-operative Association held at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City Ci-ty a week ago. |
