This year, as every year, a tea for tho mothers of all students was given so that they could get acquainted and. was again a ?eat success. STUDENTS !! We've got this year and we should show them that we know it 'Let's a team get behind the Parsons and let them know we're backing them.U ACTIVITIES BOOM The school really got off to a good start this year as far as campus activities are concerned. We've only been in school five weeks and there has been a p&rty of some sort every week. Sept. 17 was the "Hello Party" (People really got acquainted that night ! ) On Sept. 29, we won our first football game this year .That's the beginning. just That night, the annual Ravine Party was held, and Snow College was burned at the stake. After the party, every one went over to Ferry Hall and danced. ( ' Til the Juke Box refused to give with the music. ) Oct. 5, we played B.A.C. at Cedar Citji Some of us went down to give the team a moral support. little It was really a good game. (In spite of the deer, empty gas tanks flat tires.)Oct. On and Saturday, 6, the college had a picnic at the Spruces in Big Cottonwood canyon. The event was a success. Smoke, snow and good dancing music helped make it so. Saturday, Oct. 13, was the Homecoming and dance. It was game made a wonderful time as we all gave our support to make it a success. -- |
