Show SCOUTS, SCOUTERS ATTEND MEETING, YEARLY JAMBOREE Approximately forty persons represented Bingham District Boy Scout council last Friday at the annual jamboree and fellowship meeting at South high school. The auditorium was filled with Boy Scouts and Scouters of the Salt Lake council. coun-cil. International brotherhood and the March of Nations ideas were used with each of nineteen districts dis-tricts representing a nation. Bingham district responded to the role call in Austrian. Memorial tribute was paid to J. B. Myers, council executive committeeman and four other scouters and six Boy Scouts who died in 1937. Bingham came third in Troop registration with Highland winning win-ning first In both attendance and registration. Ensign district was second in registration. A banquet was served Scouters and a buffet luncheon to their ladles. s. |
