Weston will observe their Golden Wedding Wed-ding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 7. Friends and neighbors are invited to an open house at the Weston home between 2 and 6 p. m. Mr. Weston was born July 31, 1887, in Moroni, to Alfred and Jane Parry Weston. He married Metta Schow in Salt Ltke City, Oct. 2, 1912. He was employed at Bingham by Kennecott Copper Co. for five years before moving to Milford, where he was employed em-ployed by the Union Pacific for 45 years. At the time of his retirement in 1953, he had been mechanical supervisor for 32 years. He also operated a farm in South Milford, selling the farm when he retired in 1953. Mrs. Weston was born Feb. 2, 1891, in Panguitch, to Nels Christian and Sarah Ellen Fotheringham Schow. She has been a visiting teacher in the Relief Society, and is a member of the Singing Sing-ing Mothers. Mr. Weston is an Elder in the Church. They have two children, John N. Weston, Milford, and Mrs. Beverly Palmer, Las Vegas. They also have seven grandchildren. |
