According to February totals, unemployment in Grand County dropped from 12.9 percent in January to an estimated 12.1 percent last month. The revised December unemployment rate was 12.5 percent. During the 12 months from February of 1983 to last month, the civilian labor force in Utah rose 1.6 percent, from 637,400 to 647,800.
