The green robe of spring is fast unfolding upon the trees and shrubbery in every direction, embroidered and brocaded in variegated tints by spring flowers, just beginning to unfold their petals. U. OatTney, not to be behind nnyof liis foremost neighbors, has prepared Ins place of business on Ilail street, for the spring and summer campaign in a very nobby style since my last letter. The fine stone pavement and east side of C. K. McCrum's drug store has been finished off and entirely polished and completed on the outside by a Mr. Koche of Salt Lake City, in by very far the best style of any building in Shoshone, and the entire premises attract the admiring attention of all comers and goers from Junction City. It is well worthy of being repeatediy referred to ns compared with the architecture of the town surrounding it. All rubbish in the streets and alloys and rear of buildings is being collected together and either drawn to a distance, or burned on the spot, and finally disposed of. It is doubtful whether by the last of May next there will le a more neat and cleanly place of its size and age than Shoshone in the state of Idaho. Mr. I. E.
