A scout demonstration, which included in-cluded the giving of the scout pledge, the declaration of allegiance to the flag, the building of a camp fire by scout hikers, and the telling of an Indian story by President George H. Brimhall. The story was based on an incident of pioneer history of Prove Scout Executive Oscar Eirkham began his address by commenting on the importance of leadership. "Blessed is the man," he quoted, "who comes into the world when God has sent a great leader to men."
