Mr. Caine pursuant t notice given Tuesday, presented a bill for "An act requiring compensation for causing caus-ing death by wrongful act, neglect or default," which was I'elerred .to the cemmittee on Judiciary. A communication was received from the City Council acknowledging the tender of the courtesy of the Council Chamber to that body and returning thanks therefor. A message was received from the House, announcing that it had concurred con-curred with the Council in its motion to print one hundred copies of the Special Message of the Governor, presented pre-sented to-day. Mr. Caine, pursuant to notice, presented pre-sented a bill lor "An-Act changing the names of Ji ihn, .Samuel, and Thomas A. My cock" to-Starrh, and asked that it be read and placed on its passage. The bill was amended in some minor particulars, p;issed, and sent to the House lor concurrence. concur-rence. Froiscth, asking fur an appropriation of $1,000 to aid in defraying de-fraying the expenses ot publishing a revised edition of his map of the Territory. Ter-ritory.
