Colorado Northwestern Community College it seems to be waking According to coach Ronnie Stubbs every game this year is going to be a big game Right now the starting line-u- p is undecided he said “Who starts will be determined by who knows the offense and defense and shows the most desire" The Eagles will have an eight to nine man rotation and win use their depth on the bench to their advantage Coach Stubbs expects a balanced scoring attack and dominating rebounding performances from his forwards and centers The sixth-ma- n is also going to be an integral part of the team playing as much mote than the starting five and expected to provide a spark on both offense and defense he added CEU will play a match-u- p zone and rt defense with very little no press There has yet to be a player to step forward and assert himself as the defensive stopper Stubbs said He hopes to find that man during the prcsca-so- n scrimmages The team hopes to average 20 to assists 25 per game their motto being “if someone else has a better shot give them the ball" CEU still needs to improve their execution on offense as wclf as their defensive intensity With a strong feeling of team unity and a great desire to succeed CEU could be on target for a conference title and hopes of making the national in March But they arena worrying about that they have a long season ahead of them and they're taking it
