Show Wolfe's Sportsmen Headquarters Opens Beautiful New Store Here peaks. During the summer, the new shop will feature summer sporting goods, sportswear and bicycle rentals. Three generations of Jan's family have workedfor Wolfe's, which also has a store in Og-den, Og-den, Utah. Jan's father had the first ski shop in Utah in the 1930s and Jan and his brothers have grown up in the business. Jan, his wife and two children are renting a home in Park City and plan to build one of their own next summer. , ' v' l L J JAN PETERSON Wolfe's Sportsman's Headquarters Head-quarters has expanded its retail re-tail sporting goods operation to Park City with the opening recently of Wolfe's-Park City, a ski equipment, rental and repair re-pair shop located at the Park City Resort Center. The new shop will open officially with the Resort on Saturday, November Nov-ember 20. ' Manager of Wolfe's-Park City is Jan Peterson, 32, a former Wolfe's employee and Gillham advertising account ex- ' ecutive for the past 7 12 years in Salt Lake City. According to Peterson, the 3,800 sq. ft. shop will carry a $100,000 inventory of ski equipment equip-ment and clothing, sportswear, western wear and sporting goods. Adjacent to the new shop at the Park City Resort Center will be a full service ski rental and repair shop, operated by Wolfe's featuring rental skis for Graduated Length Method (GLM) ski instruction offered by the Park City Resort Ski School. The rental-repair shop is being managed by Bruce Barnes. Wolfe's-Park City will be open year round and will employ 15-20 persons durine seasonal |
