Seems like some folks figure that if they put their entry on an unusually large piece of paper (or cardboard) it would stand a better chance of being drawn. But among many hundreds of drawings in newspa pers all over the Northwest, as far as can be determined, none of these unusual entries has ever teen drawn. This, mind you, with hundreds hun-dreds of DIFFERENT people doing the drawing! Some of our psycho logist friends might want to look into this! .Don't put your entry into an en-velope-and this applies especially when more than one member of the family submits an entry. There have been cases where there were five or six entries in a single en-velope-which of course cut their chances of winning way down. Remember, you don't have to buy anything to enter . . . you don't need any special entry blank . . . you don't have to be present at the drawing to win, and you don't need to be a subscriber to the Chronicle to enter. The contest is lots of fun and challenge for the whole community. com-munity. Remember also that every member mem-ber of the family old enough to fill out his or her own entry blank is most welcome to enter-and don't keep secrets from each other! . . . You can share your information on WHO you think it is and what clues you find. That increases your chance to win-as does entering at more than one store. One final word ... If you don't drop tiff an entry at one or more of the places, you can't possibly win! Harry hunting! SPECIALS Mary Proctor Toasters. 5-year guarantee. Reg. $19.95. Sale, $13.95.
