Show GREAT SHOWING AT THE FAIR Tho high standard of cattlo that tho Utah Agricultural College maintains main-tains was amply demonstrated at tho i Cacho County Fair when out of seventeen sev-enteen entries fourteen were award-: ed ribbons. Six first and grand chain-' Ipions, seven first, and four second premiums constituted the grading, of tho college stock. Four Jorseys wero entered, three of which were winners. Blue Foxy'a Gold Stock, a seven yoar old cow received first and grand champion.' Bluo Foxy's Miss Prim, a ono year old heifer won second. Nan's Golden Gol-den Ilawlelgh, an eleven month old 'siro, was awarded first and grand champion. These prize winners were from tho new purchase that were recently made at Kansas City, Missouri Mis-souri by Prof. O. B. Calne and Dr. W. E. Carroll of the college. Of tho Holsteina entered, Countess Vooman, a one year old cow, won first and grand champion. Ormsby'a Skylock Marlon, two year old heifer, won second premium. Mochthlldo Ar-rlola Ar-rlola Mercedes, 9 months old holfcr, won second premium. Mechthlldo Queen Pontlac, 9 months old, slro won first premium. Colantha May Pontlac received second. All of the beef cattle entered won ribbons. First and grand champion was given giv-en to Joalous Dale, a 4 year old bull. Budmar, a 6 year old cow won firsthand grand champion and Lavender Lav-ender Lad, 10 months old Bull won firsts. The Hero fords were graded as follows: Lady Fashion, 9 year old cow, first and grand champion. Maz-le, Maz-le, 1 year old heifer, first premium; hereford steer, ago 2 years, first award. The final premium, a red ribbon, was given to n cross bred steer ago 2 years. |
