Show U.S. FOREST SERVICE NEWS Near record breaking precipitation has been recorded thus far for 1905. .74 of an inch was recorded after the rain storm on Wednesday night bringing the total to 15.41. Highest pre-cipation recorded was 15.65 in 1910. This year's precipitation was the second highest ever recorded with the possibility of more precipitation before the year ends. High temperature for this reporting period was 45 on Dec. 29th with the low a freezing -14. This was also the low for December. Lowest recorded temperature in 1965 was 15 on Feb. 12, 1965. Higher elevations received a combination of freezing rain and some snow. .41 of an inch was recorded at Bryce Canyon Airport.
