Wednesday, Mrs. Alvin Evans, Mrs. Homer Anderson, Mrs. Elzo Sessions and Wayne and Afton Evans were in Ogden visiting their mother and grand mother, Mrs. John Watson. Thursday the M. Men and Gleaner girls held their practice at the home of Miss Norma and Vera Summers. After the practice light refreshments were served and enjoyed by all. Mr .and Mrs. Maynard Summers, Mrs. James Summers and Norma and La Vera Summers attended a party given by Mrs. John Childs of Ogden Friday. The guests had a very enjoyable time and visited throughout the afternoon and evening." A program was enjoyed and after refreshments was served and enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Harris with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Anderson were in Ogden Monday. While there they visited Mrs. Harris' brother, Mr. Carl Christensen who is sick at the Dee Hospital. Mrs. Harris reported his condition is much improved since last week. Mrs. Mildred Nicholas entertained at a very pleasant party in the form of a shower in honor of her sister, Mrs, Mack Ellis. The afternoon was spent in games after which delicious refreshments were served. Mrs. Mack Ellis expects to leave this week for Newark, California where she will join her husband and make her home. Miss Helen Christensen entertained the members of her sewing club Monday evening. The evening was spent in sewing and visiting after which delightful refreshments were served by the hostess. All had a very enjoyable time. Miss Seely spent the week end at her home in Brigham City.
